Amina Frisch

About

Hi, my name is Amina Frisch and I am currently a student at the „Fashion School Hallein“ in Salzburg, Austria and will graduate in 2023.

I am looking for a 4-week internship in July 2021.

The study program focuses on practical skills like fashion sketching, pattern making andsewing. Fashion history as well as product development and computer technology (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe illustrator)

My six months stay in Cape Town fueled my passion for fantasy aesthetics, which has influenced me since my early childhood. I started designing my own characters and worked on makeup techniques with very limited resources. After completing my internships with two bridal couture designers, I knew that my place was in a team of designers who bring visions to life.

I am currently privately designing costumes for myself based on characters in the area of fantasy aesthetics. I am involved in a wide variety of areas, such as crafting realistic armors and weapons, sewing self-designed costumes or costumes for already existing characters.

I have also developed an avid interest in wig design, makeup and Adobe programs, which I pursue in my spare time.

During my school holidays I work as a fundraiser for non-profit organizations and I was able to further develop my rhetorical skills.

Costume design and fashion are my greatest passion. I am sure and I know from my own experience that everyone uses clothes and accessories to turn their inner selves inside out to express themselves. I am so fascinated by the incredible work that costume designers in film, television and theatre do. To bring a character to life and make them shine, a whole team is commissioned to work out every detail. I would be very excited to be part of that team and would love to see characters develop into stars.

My friends would describe me as vivacious, creative, goal oriented and proactive and I am ready to take on the challenge!
