DIRNDL

Im zweiten Jahr meines Studiums hatten wir das Thema Dirndl. Ein traditionelles österreichisches Kleid.

Wir wurden von der österreichischen Zeitung („Krone Zeitung“) beauftragt, ein traditionelles Dirndl zu entwerfen und zu nähen, das die Mitarbeiter der Zeitung bei Veranstaltungen tragen konnten und das das Image des Unternehmens perfekt widerspiegelte.

Bei dem Shooting, bei dem die Fotos entstanden sind, wollte ich die Eleganz des Dirndls betonen und mit den weißen Accessoires einen starken Kontrast zum leuchtenden Rot schaffen.

In the second year of my degree programme, we had the topic of dirndls. A traditional Austrian dress.

We were commissioned by the Austrian newspaper (‘Krone Zeitung’) to design and sew a traditional dirndl that the newspaper’s employees could wear at events and that perfectly reflected the image of the company.

In the shoot where the photos were taken, I wanted to emphasise the elegance of the dirndl and create a strong contrast to the bright red with the white accessories.
